Exclusive Video: Learn How To Do A Total Body Cardio Workout On The Beach

Today as I walked outside through the snow to get to my car, I reminisced about how my toes had just been in sand only a mere week ago… My boyfriend and I visited a small island off the coast of Puerto Rico for our spring vacation. There really is nothing like the ocean breezes and the sound of the surf. What an ideal place to get in a quick workout!

Each morning after breakfast, we’d walk down the hill to the beach as our warm up, and then we’d do a few minutes of stretching and warm up exercises.

In this video below, I’m sharing with you a 5 station metabolic/cardio circuit we did with just our bodyweight, no equipment at all!

You can create the interval times you like and the rounds, this is what we did: 20 seconds fast work + 10 seconds transition/rest, 5 stations, 4 rounds through.

The 5 exercises: Jump Squats (or bodyweight squats), Forward Shuttle Run, Mountain Climbers, Lateral Shuffles, Crab Walks (or bear crawls).

It was a hard & FUN circuit, watch it below, the scenery is amazing!

Last December we ran a workshop about how to exercise when you can’t get to the gym. It happens right? A snow day stuck at home, out of town for work or even better on a vacation, kids sick so you can’t get to the gym, etc. Don’t let that be an EXCUSE! You can quickly and easily get in a workout with little equipment.
